Bruster’s Real Ice Cream of Gaithersburg has New Owner
The Waffle Cone is being Passed!
Gaithersburg, MD – After eighteen (18) years of operation Bob Fischer is retiring and selling the popular Bruster’s Real Ice Cream of Gaithersburg to Jim Willard, and his son, Tom Willard, franchisee of Bruster’s of Frederick, MD. The shoppe will continue to make the fresh, creamy ice cream and bake those delicious waffle cones every single day!
“Montgomery County customers will continue to enjoy the same great service and ice cream treats in Gaithersburg! We have provided our Frederick store customers with fresh homemade ice cream for the past eleven (11) years and look forward to meeting and making new e friends”, says owner Tom Willard.
“This will be seamless transition for the customers and staff! You’ll see the same smiling faces who welcome you at each visit. Manager Melissa Orozco Kengla will continue to lead the team”, states former owner, Bob Fischer.
Bruster’s Real Ice Cream of Gaithersburg, MD is located at 18519 N. Frederick Ave, Gaithersburg, MD in the Floor and Décor shopping center. Bruster’s makes fresh ice cream, sorbets, Italian ices, and vegan flavors daily. Fall and winter hours are Sunday-Thursday 11:00AM to 10:00PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 10:00AM to 11:00pm. There is ample parking and a drive thru window, as well as walk-up windows. Offerings include cones, waffle cones, sundaes, milkshakes, brownie sundaes, and banana splits.
Bruster’s Real Ice Cream, founded in 1989 is headquartered in Bridgwater, PA. and has over 200 locations nationwide. All locations serve premium flavors and artisan desserts made right in the store where they are served, including crunchy handmade waffle cones, customized sundaes, candy-filled blasts and thick milkshakes.
