“Dear Gaithersburg Post,
Last night, my wife went to East Pearl Restaurant in Rockville, Maryland to pick up an order for dinner.
We had been craving this type food for many months; but the cost of ordering out nowadays can be just enormous, and getting out is challenging especially for older and/or disabled customers. We will try this restaurant’s delivery service next time, called Fantuan Delivery. Seems it’s only $2.99 on their website.
Well, the trip was well worth it!
We got Shrimp Fried Rice, Shrimp Lo Mein, Beef and Onion with Green Pepper and their delicious Fried Bread. Everything was simply delicious and cooked to perfection even though I prefer a slightly thicker gravy with the green pepper, onion and beef dish.
We ordered using their website so everything was ready when she came and only had to pick it up.
My wife forgot to ask for soy sauce and chop sticks, but the food was so flavorful we did not need the soy sauce. We found chopsticks in one of the kitchen drawers from when we ordered in November.
My wife commented on how friendly everyone was, and she felt warmly greeted by everyone there.
What surprised her the most was that one of the beautiful and kind women in the restaurant walked my wife’s order to the car for her! What outstanding service that we did not expect! My wife is on crutches, so that kindness really helped her tremendously.
I even think we would order more often if the restaurant offered curbside delivery where a customer could order and pay online and once you get to the restaurant call and let them know you’ve arrived, and someone brings out your order to your car and just hand it to you!
I am sending this letter to The Gaithersburg Post in hopes our message about this wonderful place would be published. It’s like a hidden gem in where it’s located, but it is right on Frederick Road which is very convenient. They can get busy we’ve noticed passing by there sometimes, and parking can be interesting, but it’s free parking. Your readers need to know about this fantastic place! “
