McDonald's Squishmallows Happy Meals Confirmed for December 2023

McDonald's has announced that it will be partnering with Squishmallows for a Happy Meal promotion in December 2023.This means that customers will be able to get exclusive Squishmallows toys in their Happy Meals for a limited time.

Squishmallows are soft, squishy stuffed animals that are popular with kids of all ages. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and there is a Squishmallow for everyone. This is the first time squishmalllow toys will be offered at McDonald’s. They will be the smaller but still collectable size. Looking on the official web site is a cornucopia of various sizes and types of these adorable toys. 

Jack the Black Cat is the rarest squishmallow, and it is very rare that there are only 500 in circulation (limited edition plushies). Also, it is one of the most expensive squishmallow.   The top 3 rarest squishmallows are Jack the Black Cat, Avery the Duck, and Fania the Purple Owl. Each squishmallow has a super distinct personality and story that makes it unique.

One thing is sure, if you source from a dubious site, you are getting a fake. Some sites even go further to mimic the original website and alter a single letter in the URL so that a client can hardly tell the difference. According to a press release from Jazwares, the company that produces Squishmallows, there will be 24 exclusive Squishmallows available in McDonald's Happy Meals in December 2023. Each participating McDonald's location will have 10 to 12 different Squishmallows toys available, so collectors may have their work cut out for them. These are the small happy meal sized versions of the toy. These happy meal sizes will be collectible as well as the regular sized ones. 

Squishmallows are highly collectible, and fans will be eager to get their hands on the exclusive McDonald's toys. *The image on top is the full sized ones and the image in our gallery below have the Happy Meal toy version. 

* In addition to the Squishmallows toys, McDonald's will also be offering exclusive music playlists for 14 of the Squishmallows. These playlists can be accessed by scanning a QR code on the Squishmallow toy. This is a first-of-its-kind promotion for McDonald's, and it is sure to be a hit with fans.

Reportedly, there will be 24 Squishmallows with “exclusive and seasonal plush designs” that you can collect through this promotional collaboration. The promotion features a musical pineapple Squishmallow, a rad shark Squishmallow, a cool cat Squishmallow and more. Universal Music Group is also getting into the action and curating playlists that will help define 14 of the Squishmallows’ personalities. These playlists will be immediately accessible by scanning a Quick Response code printed on the Happy Meal box. 

How to collect McDonald's Squishmallows Happy Meals:

• Arrive early to McDonald's on the day that the promotion begins. The most popular Squishmallows toys tend to go quickly.
• Ask a McDonald's employee if they can tell you which Squishmallows toys are still available but we know from the Beanie Baby days that some employees keep this prize information a secret! 
• If you are looking for a specific Squishmallow toy, you may want to call ahead to McDonald's to see if they have it in stock, but don’t expect much heads-up. 
• Trade with friends and family members to collect all of the different Squishmallows toys.
• Maybe start an online trading post but be careful for scams! 

And if you can’t score this fun toy, relax. There are all sorts of  similar looking toys as this. No need to join the rat race unless of course you want to!
